At Super Starz Auto, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances may require students to cancel or reschedule lessons or road test appointments. In order to maintain professional scheduling standards, comply with New York State regulations, and ensure fair compensation for instructors, the following policies apply to all services. By booking any lesson, class, package, or road test service, you agree to the terms set forth below.
Cancellations or rescheduling of lessons must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Students may cancel or reschedule by:
All requests must be confirmed by a representative of Super Starz Auto to be considered valid.
Failure to provide 24 hour notice, or failure to appear for a scheduled lesson, will result in a 30 dollar administrative fee. Advance notice allows us to reassign instructor time and maintain operational efficiency.
Road test cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
One rescheduling request is permitted at no charge.
A second rescheduling request will incur a 25 dollar fee.
Any additional rescheduling beyond the second request will incur a 50 dollar fee.
Failure to provide 24 hour notice for a road test appointment will result in a 70 dollar cancellation fee.
If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late, the lesson may be forfeited at the instructor’s discretion.
If a student arrives within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the lesson will proceed; however, the lost time will not be extended and will be deducted from the scheduled lesson period.
Students must comply with New York State DMV time requirements.
Students are required to arrive at the office at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled road test appointment.
If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, the instructor will not wait and the student will be responsible for transportation to the test site.
Pursuant to New York State Department of Motor Vehicles regulations governing driving schools, unused portions of prepaid instruction are refundable upon written request, subject to lawful deductions for services already rendered and reasonable administrative fees.
Refunds are calculated based on the number of lessons or services completed at the time of cancellation. Any promotional pricing or package discounts may be recalculated at the standard per lesson rate if the full package is not completed.
DMV road test fees and third party processing fees are non refundable once scheduled with the DMV.
Any applicable administrative fees, late cancellation fees, or no show fees will be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email.
Super Starz Auto provides appointment reminders as a courtesy. However, students remain solely responsible for knowing and attending their scheduled lesson or road test time.
In the event that the reminder system fails, is delayed, or is not received for any reason, the scheduled appointment remains valid and all cancellation and no show policies will apply.
Failure to receive a reminder does not constitute grounds for fee waiver, rescheduling without penalty, or refund.
All packages include one road test attempt unless otherwise stated in writing.
Pick up and drop off services are not offered at the Staten Island location.
All students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from lessons, classes, and road test appointments unless otherwise stated in writing by Super Starz Auto.
Lessons and classes will proceed as scheduled unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe by Super Starz Auto. Students will be notified if cancellations occur due to safety concerns.
Road test appointments will have priority over lessons.
Students must disclose any medical condition that may impair driving ability. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in suspension of services for safety reasons.
By enrolling in or participating in any service offered by Super Starz Auto, the student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
